Basic Stamp Collecting: An Introduction to the Hobby covers
all the basic hobby how-to's: from where to get stamps, to how to
store them, to figuring out what they're worth. You'll even get a
beginner's kit -- with all the tools and materials you'll need to
get started in the hobby. It's a great introduction for beginning
stamp collectors, giving you all the tools you'll need to get the
most enjoyment out of stamp collecting . For those of you who already
have a working knowledge of the hobby, this course will help you solidify
the knowledge you have acquired through personal experience, introduce
you to some new ideas and special teacher tips, help you avoid some
costly mistakes, and encourage you to apply it all in a practical
way.

Collecting First
Day Covers is presented by FDC expert Marj Sente. The course
is taught in two parts — Part 1 is five sessions and Part 2 is
four sessions. It covers an introduction to FDC's, history of
FDC collecting, history and types of cancellations, types of cachets,
techniques for identifying cachets, developing a specialized collection,
more ways to collect FDCs, and care of your FDC collection.

to Collect Stamps is taught by Marj Sente. This 4-week course
covers communicating on the Internet, a guide to researching online,
and buying and selling via the Net.

Six Lessons
Janet Klug and Ann Triggle, successful exhibitors and judges,
lead you through the critical steps of building a successful
exhibit.
Five lessons cover everything you've always wanted to know about
exhibiting — from the nuts and bolts of a successful exhibit
to understanding the new classes of exhibiting. Discover the
fun and challenges of exhibiting, with individual guidance in
getting
started, putting your exhibit together, where to show, and final
tips. Workbook and the new APS Manual of Philatelic Judging,
required. Beginners welcome.
